Pollutant discharge standards for livestock and poultry industry

According to the scale of aquaculture, it shall be gradually controlled in stages, and the combination of planting and breeding and ecological aquaculture shall be encouraged to gradually realize the rational distribution of the aquaculture industry throughout the country. According TO THE characteristics of pollutant discharge in livestock and poultry industry, THE pollutant control items stipulated in this standard include biochemical indexes, sanitary indexes and sensory indexes. In order to promote the reduction, harmless and resource utilization of pollutants in livestock and poultry industry, this standard stipulates the discharge standards for wastewater and foul odor and the harmless environmental standards for waste residue. According to the different scale of intensive livestock and poultry industry, this standard respectively stipulates the Z high allowable average daily discharge concentration of water pollutants, malodorous gas, Z high allowable displacement, livestock and poultry industry waste residue harmless environmental standards.

To implement the environmental protection law of the People's Republic of China, the law of the People's Republic of China on the prevention and control of water pollution and the law of the People's Republic of China on the prevention and control of atmospheric pollution, control of livestock and poultry breeding wastewater, waste residue, and the stench of pollution to the environment, promote the breeding production technology and technological progress, maintain the ecological balance, these standards are formulated. This standard is applicable to intensive and large-scale livestock and poultry farms and breeding areas, not to free-range livestock and poultry households.
